The student portal is run by Arabic Qalam ([email protected]) so that Teacher Yousef can teach you. This page explains what the portal stores and why.

What is stored

Your name, email address, time zone, the course you study, your lessons (taken from our booking system, Acuity Scheduling), messages between you and your teacher, files and links shared with you, and notes about your lessons. Your password is stored in a scrambled form that nobody can read.

Who can see it

Only you and your teacher. Other students can never see your information. It is not sold or shared for marketing.

Where it is kept

On GoDaddy's servers in Europe. Emails from the portal are sent through GoDaddy's email service.

How long

While you study, and afterwards so your lesson history is kept. You can ask at any time for your data to be deleted permanently by writing to [email protected].

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data by writing to [email protected].
